How to upload new templates / deactivate old templates

This article shows you how to upload new templates in Present.

Before you start

Make sure that:

  • The latest Present package is installed in your org
  • Make sure all steps are completed in technical details.

Uploading a new template in Present

  1. Go to the Present app in Salesforce. Present Search
  2. Go to the ‘Templates’-tab. Templates Tab
  3. Click the upload button. Upload
  4. A dialog will prompt you to upload a new template. Upload Template
  5. When upload is finished click ‘Done’. Upload finished
  6. Now select an appropriate customer type (Kundetype). Customer type selection
    1. Select customer type (Kundetype) and click upload.

Depending on the size of your template, it takes between 10 - 60 seconds to upload and process the template. If the processing takes more than 60 seconds, please contact your Present administrator.

Deactivate old templates

You can deactivate/archive old templates in Present. This will keep your templates’ metadata when deactivating templates used in reporting. This feature allows you to deactivate templates, but keep the metadata of a template but no longer want to use.

Go to the Present app in Salesforce.

  1. Present Search
  2. Go to the ‘Templates’-tab. Templates Tab
  3. Click the arrow button next to the uploaded template.

  4. Click “Deactivate”, and the template will be deactivated.
